conference instagram takeover

I had the wonderful opportunity to manage the social media for The Dieline / HOW Design Live conference in in Chicago by organizing an Instagram takeover. Under Design Packaging, I took over The Dieline's instagram account and posted throughout the weekend using a custom hashtag, which also increased visibility to DP as a company.
I collaborated with the team at The Dieline by: creating a proposal and general outline of what would be provided so that both parties would be on the same page; interviewed Ken Lo of Blow Hong Kong live via Periscope to create excitement and interest; managed all of the Instagram posts by documenting the weekend's events including: keynote speakers, panel discussions, exhibitors, parties, and conference life.
The goal was to give those who could not attend the ability to follow along, as well as creating a desire to attend the next conference.

To advertise and boost attendance of their new speaker, Ken Lo of Blow Hong Kong, I organized a live Periscope interview. The leaders of The Dieline were concerned about live streaming sessions, so I came up with the solution of using the platform as an advertisement instead. I introduced him, and asked questions that would appeal to the viewers at the conference as well as at home, wishing they could attend his session.
